Long Key State Park

Long Key State Park is located at Mile Marker 67.5 on U.S. Highway 1 and is located on Long Key, Florida, which is in the middle of the Florida Keys. The park is open at 8 a.m. until sunset every day of the year. Visitors to the park can enjoy picnics, camping, hiking, swimming, canoeing and snorkeling. Birds and wildlife are also abundant and a great attraction.

There are ample camping facilities that include 60 full facility campsites that give you an overlooking view of the Atlantic Ocean. You have picnic tables, ground grill, electricity and water. There are also hot showers in the restrooms. It is a good idea to make your reservations as early as you can in order to ensure your campsite is reserved and available. The climate is Florida tropical year round and bring bug spray with you on your vacation.

Other things to do and activities during your visit to the state park include boating, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, picnics and hiking trails. If you enjoy scenic views and wildlife, then this Florida place and vacation spot may be for you.
