Gulfport FL

This little tucked away Florida town does not immediately come to mind for many as an exciting FL destination and getaway spot. However, do not let first thoughts misguide you. Gulfport, FL is located in an area of St. Petersburg, Florida and is in Pinellas County, FL. Gulfport is included in the Tampa-St. Pete-Clearwater area of Central West FL and has a lot of exciting things going for it.


There are a lot of things to do in Gulfport, FL. First, the city has a four block waterfront district with different restaurants and cafes and boasts some excellent off-beat dining hot spots. The area also hosts some very popular festivals throughout the year.

The city is also in close proximity to the area beaches of St. Petersburg, Treasure Island, Madeira Beach, Redington Beach and Clearwater Beach. Throughout this area are a wide selection of Gulfport Florida hotels, accommodations, condo rentals, Gulfport Florida vacation rentals, hotel resorts and timeshares that will fit almost any budget. The city of Gulfport, FL can have that unique, quaint and quirky feel of a secluded destination while also being close to many different attractions, activities and other things to do.

It is also easy to reach from I-75 and I-275. The town of Gulfport is just north of the Skyway Bridge and Skyway Fishing Pier State Park.
